NEW YORK - After taking heat in the mobile space, Microsoft launches its Windows Phone 7 offensive
to put it back into competition against Apple's iPhone 4, Blackberry OS6, and Google's Android
mobile operating system. AT&T is Microsoft's premier partner for the Windows Phone 7 launch and
AT&T Mobility and Consumer Markets CEO Ralph de la Vega was there at the press event with Microsoft
CEO Steve Ballmer. Microsoft has created online guides called
"Get Started" and
"Help and how-to" for
consumers to learn more about Windows Phone 7 and how to use a Windows Phone 7 device.
Windows Phone 7 powered devices will debut October 21st in Europe and Asia.
The Windows Phone 7 devices will debut in the United States almost two weeks later on November 8.
