New Sony PlayStation Vita (Wi-fi: 249.99 USD / Wi-fi + 3G: 299.99 USD)

LOS ANGELES - E3 opened today in Los Angeles with Microsoft leading the press announcements. Microsoft announced that
it is bringing live television to XBOX Live. As Sony was doing with the PlayStation 3, it appears Microsoft is trying
to make the XBOX 360 the center of entertainment in homes everywhere. In addition to live televsion, Microsoft
also announced a new voice capability for XBOX 360 with voice search with Bing. Microsoft also revealed several
new video games such as Gears of War 3 and Halo 4. One of the most interesting games revealed was Kinect: Disneyland
Adventures. The game is like a simulated version of Disney's theme parks.
Amusement parks aren't the only place to have fun. Rival Sony also had their press announcements today. The big annoucement
at Sony of course was their next generation portable gaming console. Sony revealed the retail name for the PSP NGP as the
PlayStation Vita. This had already been rumored on the Internet before Sony officially made the annoucement. The Wi-fi only version
of the PlayStation Vita will be $249.99 USD and the 3G + Wi-fi version will be $299.99 USD. AT&T will be the exclusive
service provider for the PlayStation Vita in the United States. In addition to the PlayStation Vita, Sony also revealed
several games.
